Man Utd ready to hijack Arsenal’s move for Tchouameni

Manchester United has entered the race alongside Arsenal to sign Real Madrid’s midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni and are ready to hijack the deal from the North London side. The France international is considered one of the most talented young players in Europe, currently plays for one of the world’s biggest clubs. Despite this, Arsenal has expressed interest in acquiring him for their squad.

The Gunners view Tchouameni as a player who can significantly enhance their team and are prepared to make an ambitious move for him. However, the midfielder comes with a hefty price tag of £85 million.

While Arsenal is willing to spend big to secure Declan Rice, some fans may not consider the fee for Tchouameni as an obstacle. Nevertheless, according to a report from The Sun, Manchester United has also expressed interest in the Frenchman.

Mount completes Man Utd medical

Mason Mount has completed his Manchester United medical ahead of his move from Chelsea, according to Sky Sports. The contracts for the deal are now being finalised.

A formal announcement is expected in the next 24 hours. The deal is £55m initial payment plus £5m in performance-related add-ons.

Granit Xhaka close to joining Bayer Leverkusen

Everton keen on Almeria’s Toure, says president

Almeria president Mohamed El Assy has revealed that Everton are one of several clubs interested in forward El Bilal Toure this summer. Toure scored seven goals in 21 LaLiga games for Almeria last season.

“It is not only Everton. There is a new owner [there who] has bought a part of the club, but it’s not just them,” El Assy told Diario de Almeria.

“Officially there are three clubs interested in El Bilal with formal offers on the table. Two of them are Italian and one is English.

“And now we are in the middle of negotiations, from what we will see, since we are not going to broadcast them in the media.”   

Ramsey to leave Man Utd

Emily Ramsey has left Man Utd after the completion of her contract. The goalkeeper made a total of six first-team appearances in all competitions and spent the the 2022/23 season on loan at Everton. She was also recently included as a standby player in Sarina Wiegman’s England squad, but has now left the camp.
