Napoli are growing increasingly confident of keeping Chelsea target Victor Osimhen by agreeing a new deal with him. According to Corriere del Mezzogiorno Tuttonapoli, another round of discussion is set to take place between Napoli and Osimhen’s agent Roberto Calenda over the details of the proposed deal.

Per the report, bar any monstrous offer from any of the striker’s suitors, he should stay for another year in Naples with his contract renewed and a probable release clause inserted into the new deal. The Italian Serie A champions are in a hurry to tie down their No.9 to a long-term contract to prevent him from leaving this summer.

The Super Eagles forward has attracted the interest of Manchester United and Chelsea, having established himself as one of the most clinical strikers in Europe. Osimhen is also on the radar of French Ligue 1 champions PSG, while Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich consider him as an alternative option to their primary target Harry Kane.

Man Utd shift attentions to Feyenoord ‘keeper Bijlow

Manchester United have shifted their attentions to Feyenoord goalkeeper Justin Bijlow, reports De Telegraaf in the Netherlands. United boss Erik ten Hag had been keen to sign Inter’s Andre Onana but the £51m price tag is proving too expensive for the Premier League club at this stage.

Bijlow, a Netherlands international, is viewed as a far cheaper option by United, three times so, the report says. Feyenoord though are not in agreement.

Eintracht Frankfurt goalkeeper Kevin Trapp, formerly of PSG, is another name being considered. Ten Hag is being hamstrung by his tight budget of around £120m this summer as United look to adhere to FFP rules.
