Transfer News: Mason Mount To Undergo Medical Today, Arsenal Close To Sealing A Deal For Declan Rice

Ahead of his potential transfer from Chelsea to Manchester United, England midfielder Mason Mount is expected to undergo a medical test today at the Carrington training ground in Manchester.

The 24-year-old is expected to sign a five-year deal with the Red Devils after his medical on Monday after both Manchester United and Chelsea a few days ago, agreed on a transfer fee of £55 million and £5 million add-ons included in the deal if the Red Devils win a trophy in the next five years.

Elsewhere, Arsenal are expected to seal the signing of Declan Rice this week after a transfer of £105 million was agreed on with West Ham United last Wednesday. Both Arsenal and West have made significant progress in payment terms, and they are expected to meet again in the next few hours to finally get the deal done as they continue to boost their squad ahead of the new football season scheduled for next month.
