Chelsea are weighing up a bid for Lyon wonderkid Rayan Cherki.

According to reports, the 19-year-old is the latest young star on the Blues’ radar after a breakout season for Lyon last term, scoring five goals and providing six assists.

Lyon are open to selling and want around £43million for the youngster.

Tottenham to sign defender

Tottenham are set to sign Wolfsburg defender Micky van de Ven in a £30million deal, reports John Cross.

The Dutch defender has agreed to join Spurs this summer and now the two clubs are left to finalise the final details.

But it is understood that the 6’4ft in Dutch under-21 international is ready to make the switch.

Arsenal make Henrichs move

Arsenal have opened talks with Benjamin Henrichs over a summer move.

That’s according to Sky Germany reporter Florian Plettenberg, who claims Mikel Arteta is driving the interest.

Barnes set to snub Newcastle and Spurs

Steven Gerrard’s move to Saudi Arabia has now been officially confirmed.

The Liverpool legend has been appointed as the new head coach of Saudi Pro League side Al Ettifaq, who finished seventh last season.
