Tinubu’s Ministerial Nominees Are Unknown- Momodu

Dele Momodu, Director of Strategic Communications of the Peoples Democratic Party Presidential Campaign Council during the 2023 election has claimed that President Bola Tinubu’s ministerial nominees are unknown and worse than the former President Muhammadu Buhari government’s cabinet.

Mr Momodu said this while appearing on the latest edition of a Podcast.

He described Tinubu’s ministerial list as disappointing and showing that Tinubu’s government did not do its job well.

Don’t Despair-Obi Urges Youths

The Presidential Candidate of the Labour Party, Mr Peter Obi, has urged Nigerian youths to remain positive and hopeful for the coming of a New Nigeria, which, he said, will be anchored on youth development and productivity.

Obi made this call in his message to mark World Youth Day, WYD, on Saturday.

He explained that the current confusion in the politics as well as the economic turmoil in Nigeria should not discourage but rather motivate our youths to remain committed and resolute in the struggle for a new and better Nigeria.

Two Killed As Kidnappers Attack Travellers In Enugu

Gunmen suspected to be kidnappers attacked travellers along the Ugwogo-Neke Road in Enugu State on Friday, and reportedly killed two persons.

The incident occurred at a border between Enugu East and Isi-Uzo local government areas of the State.

The Ugwogo area of Enugu State has been notorious for kidnapping activities, a situation that has made travelling on roads within the area a nightmare.

According to an eyewitness, the latest incident occurred on Friday at about 7:30 pm.

Again, Bandits Attack Plateau Traders, Kill Two

Barely one week after some gunmen attacked traders returning from a market in the Heipang community, Barkin Ladi Local Government Area of Plateau state, the bandits have again killed two traders.

It was gathered that the latest victims who were all women were returning from Kinat Community when they were attacked by the bandits on Friday evening.

Kinat Community is in Halle Ward in the neighbouring Mangu Local Government Area.
