He's a Miracle-Working God, Keyamo Rejoice After His Name Appear In Tinubu Ministerial List

Festus Keyamo, A former minister of state for labour and employment, has spoken out after President Bola Ahmed Tinubu included him to his list of ministers. The Punch and other well-known news sources said on Friday, August 4, 2023, that President Tinubu has appointed Keyamo as a minister. When Senate President Godswill Akpabio read the letter the President addressed to the Senate during the plenary session, Keyamo’s name was mentioned. Keyamo was reportedly added to the list when Maryam Shetty was substituted by Dr. Maigari Mahmud on the President’s list.

Maryam Shetty from Kano State was nominated for a ministerial position, and after the President transmitted the second nomination list to the Senate, there were mixed comments on social media. It is unclear why the President rearranged the list or why Maryam Shetty’s name was replaced.

Following the development, Keyamo has taken to his verified Twitter handle to thank God. He described God as a miracle-working God, as also added some dancing emojis.

He said – “He’s a miracle-working God. He’s a miracle-working God. He’s the Alpha and Omega, He’s the miracle-working God.”

The initial list, which had 28 candidates, had been sent to the Senate by the President for review and confirmation. The second list, which had 19 candidates, was sent to the Senate on Wednesday by the President for review. Keyamo’s being inclusive on the list raises the anticipated total of Tinubu’s cabinet members to 48.
