Peter Obi, the 2023 presidential candidate of Labour Party, has debunked reports claiming he hinted at becoming Nigeria’s president in 2027.

Obi, who is still in court to challenge the result of the 2023 election that produced Bola Tinubu as president, labelled the reports fake.

He noted that he also did not comment on the prospective appointees into the Federal Government.

Tinubu travelled the Presidential Wing of Abuja Airport on Saturday afternoon.

Osun Governor Ademola Adeleke has appealed to bank Chief Executives to reopen closed branches in towns across Osun sState.

The Governor assured the banks that there is now a new Sheriff in town.

Nigerian Association Of POS tors To Implement New Service Charges By Monday

Point of Sales (POS) operators, under the aegis of the Association of Mobile Money and Bank Agents in Nigeria (AMMBAN), have restated their plans to implement the new service charges range in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, Lagos and other parts of the country.

It was learnt that the new framework will start on Monday.

The National Publicity Secretary of the association, Elegbede Segun, made this known while speaking in an interview, on Friday, noting that the association was well prepared to commence implementation.
