Tinubu To Reward Wike with Ministerial Appointment For Role In 2023 Election – Atiku’s Aide Alleges
Phrank Shaibu, special assistant for public communications to Atiku Abubakar, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate in the upcoming 2023 elections, has made serious allegations against President Bola Tinubu. According to a report by POLITICS NIGERIA, Shaibu Tinubu accused Nyesom Wike, the former Rivers state governor, of wanting to offer a cabinet post.
Today, President Tinubu is expected to submit a list of nominees for ministerial posts to the Senate for approval. However, Shaibu expressed his concerns, implying that this nomination was a way for Tinubu to show his gratitude to Wike for allegedly rigging the Rivers State presidential election in Tinubu’s favor.
Shaibu expressed doubts about the reliability of election results in states like Rivers and pointed out that the entire electoral process was riddled with irregularities.He points to an ongoing petition against Wike, which has garnered nearly 300,000 signatures, as evidence of widespread dissatisfaction with Wike’s alleged misconduct during the election.

In a statement signed by Shaibu, he said, “The Rivers state presidential election was clearly rigged, as evidenced by data uploaded by INEC to IREV.” Governor Wike calls.
