A Lagbaja; the Chief of Naval Staff, Rear Admiral E. A Ogalla; and the Chief of Air Staff, AVM H. B Abubakar. Additionally, the Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, was also present to contribute to the discussion.
The urgency of the meeting can be attributed to the alarming security challenges that the nation currently faces. Nigeria has been plagued by terrorism, banditry, and armed gang activities for an extended period. Disturbingly, verifiable data from the period between May 2015 and May 2023 revealed that over 55, 000 Nigerians lost their lives to these heinous acts.
