Tinubu Reassigns Momoh To Niger Delta As Oyetola, Alkali, Tunji-Ojo Swap Portfolios

President Bola Tinubu has approved the redeployment of Engr. Abubakar Momoh from the Federal Ministry of Youth to the Federal Ministry of Niger Delta Development.

Leadership paper reported that, According to a statement by Presidential spokesman, Ajuri Ngelale, on Sunday night, the Federal Ministry of Youth is to be re-assigned to a Minister-designate soon.

The Federal Ministries of Transportation, Interior, and Marine & Blue Economy’s Ministers-designate, according to him, switched portfolios.

“Adegboyega Oyetola is redeployed as the Honourable Minister of Marine & Blue Economy,” said the statement.

“Honorable Bunmi Tunji-Ojo has been reassigned to the position of Minister of the Interior.

“The Honorable Sa’idu Alkali has been reassigned to the position of Minister of Transportation.”

Additionally, the Federal Ministry of Petroleum Resources is currently home to both Ministers of State for the Oil & Gas industry, who have the following titles:

The Hon. Minister of State (Oil and Petroleum Resources) is Sen. Heineken Lokpobiri.

The Hon. Minister of State for Petroleum Resources is Hon. Ekperipe Ekpo.

“The Federal Ministry of Environment and Ecological Management will now be known as the Federal Ministry of Environment, with the President’s approval.

By the President’s directions, “all aforementioned changes take immediate effect.”
