'Tinubu Govt Is Not Indicating The Courage To Review The Govt That Got Us Into This Mess' – Sowunmi

A Former PDP governorship Aspirant in Ogun State, Segun Sowunmi has alleged that President Bola Tinubu’s government is not indicating that they have the courage to probe the previous administration. He said in an interview with Arise TV news that a lot of people who held offices in the previous administration should be held accountable by the government. 

He said, ”How do you come to the public space and tell us that between the time you came on May 29th till date, it’s one individual, the governor of Central Bank that you could hold till date? Is that supposed to suggest that since you have been in power, you have not been able to see the people who abuse the forex process? The Tinubu government is not indicating the belief that they have the courage to review the government that got us into this mess. 

How did they open the CBN books now telling us that some guy was CBN governor and without approval, he went abroad and borrowed money from money banks and pledged our resources on it? And you have been here, it’s almost 100 days and you have not been able to call people and ask for accountability.”
