Tinubu Claims That Nigeria Is Ready To Play A Significant Role Within The G20.

President Bola Tinubu has stated that Nigeria is poised to play a big role within the G-20 and actively participate in helping to create a more just world.

This assertion was made in a statement released on Saturday in Abuja by Ajuri Ngelale, the President’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity.

Tinubu emphasized the need for international cooperation and unity in solving urgent issues, encouraging inclusivity, and constructing a more just global order during his speech to world leaders at the 18th G-20 leaders meeting held in New Delhi, India.

President Tinubu acknowledged and underscored the crucial role played by the G-20 in establishing a world order based on principles, promoting shared prosperity, and guaranteeing international security.

Additionally, Tinubu stressed that due to the international nature of the majority of today’s urgent concerns, multilateral cooperation is necessary to find solutions.

To achieve a peaceful, successful, and sustainable future for our planet, more collaboration, cooperation, and partnership among various areas are necessary.

He claims that because of this, the G-20’s importance and contributions to the development of a just and rule-based international system cannot be overstated.

I hasten to add that these guidelines and the global governance systems of our shared aspirations must be created, owned, and operated by all of us.

The president noted that this is in line with the true meaning of a cohesive family, mutual respect, and the pursuit of sustainable development.

According to him, Nigeria is prepared, capable, and eager to play a significant role in the G-20 family and in creating a new world. Without Nigeria, the family would be lacking.

Expanding on his words, Tinubu congratulated India for hosting this historic summit and for its success in landing on the moon, an accomplishment made possible by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s inspirational leadership.
