A Former Minister of Foreign Affairs, Aminu Wali has alleged that the President has not been able to focus on the National problem since he came into power. He said in an interview with Arise Tv news that the President is being engrossed with the situations around Africa as regards recent military coups. He however noted that the welfare of Nigerians should be the primary interest of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
He said, ”Nobody can go to any sovereign country without the stamp of the security council of the United Nations. For me, Tinubu came into power but unfortunately, he has not been on seat all along. We have so many problems internally that he’s yet to understand and learn what is going on.
When you look at things from the outside, because you are not in control, you will not know exactly what the situation is. It is until you will come in that you will understand the situation. So for me, the responsibility of the welfare of the people of this country is what should be of interest to the President.”
