The People’s Democratic Party in Ondo State has replied to the claims made by the APC in the state.
In a message released and approved by the party’s publicity secretary, Kennedy Peretei, Fatai Adams claimed that the first few months of the president’s administration have caused tremendous misery to Nigerians.
According to the Vanguard, Adams was responding to Ade Adetimehin, the Ondo state chairman of the state’s ruling All Progressive Congress, who claimed that the PDP was defunct.
Instead, he asserted, the APC and its inhumane administration were to blame for the suffering endured by Nigerians over the last eight years.
He asserted that Adetimehin is likely the only individual unaware of the reality that residents of Ondo State blame his party, and its inhumane government for their misery over the past eight years. “In particular, the removal of petrol subsidy has a devastating impact on everyone”.
He is unaware that even those who were duped into voting for the APC in the general elections of 2023 are already regretting their error, which has caused them and their families enormous pain.
“Such a man ought to have been on his knees apologizing to the people for the terrible catastrophe that his party orchestrated if he had any feeling of guilt and accountability. He said, “To now say in a nonchalant attitude that the PDP is now dead is not just funny but treason of the highest degree.”
Adams responded to the party’s members moving to the state’s ruling party by claiming that the majority of the 203 councilors Adetimehin is congratulating for moving to his party have not been operating in the last two cycles of elections in Ondo State.”
A lot of them have become members of the APC since 2016. Only someone like Adetimehin, who oversees a critically split APC in the State but deceives himself with fun-seeking decampees who tell him tales in moonlight, can comprehend how the defection of such people equates to the PDP being dead.
“A few individuals who are engaged in a self-destructive misadventure in Adetimehin’s collapsing APC ship have alarmed the PDP in Ondo State.”

But it won’t be long until they realize they were living a lie the whole period. The party chairman also said there is no evidence that the PDP is going defunct. And it can never happen.
