They Have Stolen What Is Not For Them And They Will Not Sleep Until We Recover It All – Julius Abure

The National Chairman of the Labour Party, Julius Abure has stated that the mandate given to the presidential candidate of the party, Peter Obi in the last election will soon be recovered at the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Abuja.

Recall that according to the Independent National Electoral Commission, former Governor of Lagos State and National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu defeated other strong contenders including Peter Obi of the Labour Party, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party and Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP to clinch the apex political seat in the country.

The presidential candidates of the Labour Party, Peter Obi and that of the Peoples Democratic Party, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar are currently challenging the victory of Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the Presidential Election Tribunal in Abuja. Nigerians are now waiting for the judgement of the Court after the judges have heard all petitions.

The Vanguard paper reported that Julius Abure, who is on a tour to the United Kingdom and the US, said the “judgment by the presidential election petition tribunal, PEPT, is expected to come on or before September 16.”

He noted; “Following Peter Obi’s participation in the 2023 general election, we changed the political narratives in Nigeria. We gave them a run for their money. They have murdered sleep and they will sleep no more. They have stolen what is not for them and they will not sleep until we recover it all.”
