The utterances of Wike can possibly get himself and the president into political trouble- Sen. Sani

In a tweet on his Twitter handle on Tuesday, former member of the Nigerian Senate, Senator Shehu Sani said the capacity and competence of the new Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Barrister Nyesom Wike is without doubt.

Senator Sani also raised concerns about the potential of the former Rivers State Governor to inadvertently entangle both himself and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in “serious political trouble” due to his statements and actions. 

Senator Sani cautioned that the minister must navigate the political landscape with caution, comparing the situation to treading through a minefield, where missteps could have negative consequences.

Senator Sani wrote, “The capacity and competence of the new FCT minister to deliver is without doubt.The possibility of getting himself and the President into serious political trouble by his utterances or actions is also without doubt.He will have to learn to walk in a minefield or be blown by it.”
