The Current Problems In Niger & Cameroon Started Not Too Long After Nigeria Removed Subsidy- Obinna Nwosu

Recall that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu sent a mission to the Niger Republic with instructions to swiftly end the nation’s present political deadlock. Abdulsalami Abubakar, a former head of state of the Nigerian military, is leading the team. According to the statement, he departed Abuja for Niamey after a meeting with Mr. Tinubu.

Obinna Nwosu, a federal House of Representatives candidate for the ADC in the 2023 elections, responded to the current crisis in Niger Republic by stating his twitter account that the current issues in Niger Republic and Cameroon began not long after Nigeria removed the fuel subsidy.

According to Obinna Nwosu’s first statement,

The present issues in the Niger Republic and Cameroon began shortly after Nigeria stopped providing subsidies. In the Niger Republic, the price of fuel abruptly increased, making living difficult for the populace. The populace turned against the president Mohamed Bazoum because he was unable to find a solution to the problem. The military saw this as an opportunity to stage a coup.
