The 100 Days In Office Of President Bola Tinubu Is Undoubtedly A Bundle Of Disappointment' -Sikirulahi Ogundele

Sikirulahi Ogundele, the Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ogun State, shared his thoughts on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s first 100 days in office, following his assumption of the presidency on May 29, 2023.

Ogundele expressed his perspective during an exclusive interview with The Punch paper. He stated, “There is no reasonable basis for comparing the PDP government to what we have witnessed under the APC government. President Bola Tinubu’s 100 days in office have undeniably been a source of disappointment. Instead of alleting the suffering that Nigerians endured during the former President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration, the President has exacerbated it.”

He elaborated on his viewpoint, saying, “The average Yoruba person is known for their welfare-oriented approach, but Tinubu has contradicted this by removing fuel subsidies without implementing any measures to mitigate the resulting hardships.”

He continued, “I now spend an average of N120,000 per day to run generators at my two hotels. It’s worth noting that these same individuals once claimed that subsidy was a hoax and that there was no such thing when the administration of former President Goodluck Jonathan considered its removal.”

Sikirulahi Ogundele’s recent remarks on President Tinubu’s 100 days in office, as reported by The Punch paper, have sparked various reactions from Nigerians on social media.
