Award-winning music video director, TG Omori has announced that the official music video for the viral song “Shey You Dey Whine Me” is about to be released.
Announcing the project’s completion and release date via his Twitter handle on Monday, the 27-year-old cinematographer shared an excerpt of the song, accompanied with the words: “5 pm tomorrow.”
It could be recalled that the song by Austine Emmanuel immediately gained popularity on numerous social media sites and was among the top sounds on TikTok Nigeria after it was released last month.
Omori then expressed his desire to meet the artist behind the track after observing how quickly it rose in internet popularity and said that it deserved a TG Omori-style music video to go along with it.
Omori tweeted: “I desperately need to meet that guy that sang that ‘Shey you Dey whine me’ song. That song deserves a TG OMORI video cos what?!!!”
Fans are eagerly anticipating the video.
