Take Your Pick, Invalid Nomination, Forged Certificate, Criminal Forfeiture-Obaza Drags APC & Tinubu

Mr. Oseloka Obaze, a former secretary to the government of Anambra State and a chieftain of the Labour Party, has dragged the All Progressives Congress, or APC, and its presidential candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, into the case and demanded that Nigerians choose three reasons why the court should rule against them.

He cited a number of factors, including Bola Tinubu’s citizenship for Guinea, the alleged double nomination of Kashim Shettima, the APC vice presidential candidate, a forged certificate, the submission of false information, and perjury, as reasons why the APC and Tinubu should be disqualified.

This information was revealed by Mr. Oseloka Obaze in a tweet he posted on his Twitter account on Monday morning, indicating that there are still 4 more strikes available even if Nigerians choose only three.

Three (3) Strikes & you’re Out, according to the tweet. Decide which: The following are ineligible nominations: 1. invalid nominations; 2. double nominations; 3. citizenship of Guinea; 4. forged certificates; 5. criminal forfeiture; 6. submission of incorrect information; and 7. perjury. Pick 3, and there are still four more strikes available for you to choose from.

Recall that the Labour Party and Mr. Peter Obi, its presidential candidate, are now in court. challenging the results of the recently held presidential election and requesting that the court rule Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the APC’s presidential candidate, ineligible and declare the election void.

Bola Tinubu should be barred from running for office, according to the Labour Party, for a number of reasons, including his illegitimate nomination, Kashim Shettima’s double nomination, an alleged money forfeiture in the United States of America from a number of years ago, and the filing of a counterfeit certificate.
