Presidential Election Tribunal: Moderate Your Expectations -Most Rev. Godfrey Onah Tells Nigerians

The Catholic Bishop of the Nsukka Diocese, Most Rev. Prof. Godfrey Onah Igwebuike in a video on his official YouTube handle, sent an advisory message to Nigerians about their expectations on the outcome of the 2023 presidential election cases. The Catholic priest urges Nigerians to moderate their expectations.

Most Rev. Prof. Godfrey Onah: “As we gradually build our broken nation, many people are now saying, all eyes on the Judiciary. I want to remind all of us that the Honourable Justices are Nigerians, they did not fall down from Heaven. They are products of the same corrupt society in which all of us live in. So, we should moderate our expectations because great expectations herald great disappointments.”

Recall, Peter Obi of the Labour Party and Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) are in court to challenge the presidential victory of Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
