Suspected Yahoo Boy Escapes After Killing A Prostitute In Asaba Hotel

According to reports, there’s obvious and significant unrest,anxiety in a hotel located on Nnebisi road in Asaba, the capital city of Delta state,whereby a man,who appears to be an alleged internet fraudster popularly known as “yahoo boy” took to his heels after stabbing a prostitute to death and also burning the room where they lodged.

As a matter of fact,the sad incident was reportedly discovered after some eyewitnesses in the surrounding areas saw thick smoke coming out from the room lodged by the suspect and deceased which frightened some residents of the region.

However,as disclosed by news reporters , a source said,“we don’t know the man, we don’t know what happened, but the girl is dead now. The man ran away after what he did. We need the police to help arrest the man so he can face the law”.

A source within the community who doesn’t want to be identified added that,”this should open up an inquest because why would the hotel staff allow someone who came along with someone leave without the person.Such an act is quite suspicious without much complications,but,I hope the police get the evil doer and bring him to justice as soon as possible”.

In furtherance,via a brief phone conversation with news reporters, the State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Deputy Superintendent of Police DSP Bright Edafe, verified the occurrence and gave his word to give back detailed information of the whole incident after police investigators of the command carry out their job.

In the meantime, recounting a similar occurrence in the month of August 2022,a lady,who appears to be a prostitute was fatally stabbed and choked to death at a well-known brothel in Ughelli, the administrative center of Ughelli North Local Government Area LGA, Delta state.

Specifically,the name of the decedent was given as one Confidence whereby her remains was discovered in her brothel room after her colleagues grew suspicious when she return back to their location as usual to look for customers.
