Sit-at-home, Killings: SE Governors Should Demand The Extradition Of Ekpa From Finland-Igbo Leaders

According to a report from Vanguard Online, The National President of the Igbo National Council, INC, Chilos Godsent, remarked in a similar vein: “South-East governors should demand from the Finland government for the extradition of Simon Ekpa and failure to do that they will place an embargo on Finland and also lead a protest to the country’s embassy.”

Additionally, Mr. Eze Eluchie, Convener and Executive Director of PADDI Foundation, requested that Ndigbo disregard Ekpa.

“Until then, I’ll suggest that everyone ignores that rascal component. Even the IPOB has rejected him and claimed that they are not a part of the Ekpa sit-at-home order, Eluchie stated.

“How can someone continue to issue orders that are carried out in the South-East while they are having fun in distant Finland?”

Goodluck Ibem of the Coalition of South-East Youth Leaders, COESYL, commented that Ekpa was not campaigning for Kanu’s release. Ibem remarked that Simon Ekpa was working to keep Nnamdi Kanu in custody rather than for his freedom.

The reality is that someone who purports to be fighting for their people cannot murder those very people by wreaking havoc on them.
