Saying I Was Attacked For Visiting President Tinubu Is False And Created To Cause Mischief – Ngozi Okonjo-iweala
Dr. Oby Ezekwesili, the director general of the World Trade Organisation, has refuted claims that he was assaulted during a meeting with president Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
On Wednesday, the World Trade Organization’s director general responded to the remark on her Twitter page.
Remember that on Wednesday, Ngozi Okonjo Iweala met with the president?
She emerged after the meeting to describe how they had a productive and forward-thinking talk.
There were rumours that she was assaulted after the meeting. She claimed that she was never assaulted in her most recent post. She said that the rumour about her attack making the rounds on WhatsApp is untrue and should be ignored.
She said it is untrue and was made to cause trouble.
“That statement circulating is false in fact wickedly false designed to create mischief among Nigerians,” she posted on her Facebook.
