Shehu Sani Reacts To What Archbishop John Onaiyekan Said Regarding The 2023 Presidential Election Tribunal

Former senator for Kaduna Central, Shehu Sani shared a tweet his Twitter handle, reacting to the statement once said by archbishop John Onaiyekan.

In his tweet, Shehu Sani stated that while INEC had declared Tinubu as the President of Nigeria, they were eagerly awaiting the judgment of the presidential election tribunal to ascertain the true winner of the 2023 presidential election. He emphasized that his response was influenced by the words of Archbishop John Onaiyekan, who had previously articulated a similar sentiment.

Following INEC’s declaration of Tinubu as the winner, the rest presidential candidates from different political parties contested the outcome and decided to pursue legal action. The presidential election tribunal will tell us the presidential candidate that truly won the presidential election.

The official announcement of the tribunal’s decision is scheduled for tomorrow, September 6, 2023. Shehu Sani also emphasized the importance of a peace accord being signed by all presidential candidates prior to the tribunal’s judgment.
