Shehu Sani Reacts After Cameroon, Rwanda Presidents Reshuffles Military Leadership After Gabon Coup

Shehu Sani, a former senator for Kaduna Central has taken to his his official X account, formerly known as Twitter to react after Cameroon and Rwanda presidents reshuffled military leadership after Gabon coup.

Following the recent military coup in Niger Republic and Gabon, it was reported that the President of Cameroon, Paul Biya, on Wednesday, made major changes to the country’s Ministry of Defence, while the President of Rwanda, Paul Kagame, approved the retirement of top military generals and senior officers as well as junior soldiers.

More so, it was reported that Uganda President, Yoweri Museveni shuffled 35 military leaders. 

Reacting to the report, the outspoken activist, Shehu Sani took to his microblogging, Twitter page to air out his opinion. 

 

Shehu Sani revealed in his statement that the fear of military coup has forced some African leaders to reset their military instead of resetting their governance system in their respective countries. 

In his tweet, Shehu Sani wrote below:

“The fear of coup has prompted some African leaders to resetting their military instead of resetting their governance system.”
