Tinubu: For someone who want to hit ground running he ought to have had his cabinet list ready – Dumebi Kachikwu

Dumebi Kachikwu, former presidential candidate of the ADC, said that for President Tinubu who want to hit the ground running, he ought to have had his cabinet list ready.

Dumebi Kachikwu made the statement in an interview with Arise during the morning show program when Ayo asked him that what type of cabinet list he except working with Tinubu because in his response to Tinubu’s democracy speech, he said he’s disappointed that Tinubu did not choose his cabinet list from day one. And he should also talk about the palliative .

Dumebi Kachikwu reacted that,

“For someone(Tinubu) who want to hit the ground running, he ought to have had his cabinet list ready from day one. He’s not done this and a lot of people were disappointed and I am also disappointed. Although the constitution gave him a latitude of about 60 days, so we are waiting but for someone who understand that this country is bleeding, he ought to have done it “

He then said on the issue of palliative, it shouldn’t have cone after the fuel subsidy removal but that, palliative should have been planned, factored in if he is to remove the subsidy.

“Nigerians for the last one month, going to 2 months now, are already suffering the removal of file subsidy.”
