Senator Shehu Sani Speaks As Atiku, Peter Obi, And Kwankwaso Hold Talks On Merger To Defeat APC

The trio of Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, Alhaji Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso and Mr. Peter Obi have begun to discuss the possibility of a merger, with the ultimate goal of establishing a formidable party that can more effectively challenge the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) as the country continues its transition process.

It was stated that the meeting between these three political strata in the country has been ongoing for some time, with the initial meeting taking place between Atiku Abubakar and Musa Kwankwaso, while Peter Obi is also in talks with certain Peoples Democratic Party members.

However, Senator Shehu Sani, a former senator representing the Kaduna Central Senatorial District, responded to this on his official X handle this morning, saying that the development of the possible merger, as reported, is good for the country’s democracy, but they are doing it at the wrong time.

The former senator tweeted on his verified X account that: “The speculation that the opposition are planning to unite is good for democracy; now they are studying geography after the earthquake”.
