PEPT: 'If They Had Done What We Have Been Telling Them, We May Not Have The All This Noise' – Yabagi Sani

The Chairman of Inter Party Advisory Council, Yabagi Sani has alleged that there wouldn’t have been any fuss about the 2023 election at the Presidential election tribunal if the petitioners had listened to IPAC’s stance on the need for cohesiveness. He stated that since the President was declared the winner of the election, every other political party is expected to support him to succeed.

He said in an interview with Arise TV , ”The nation needs a kind of cohesiveness which must be done deliberately. You don’t say it will take care of itself. And then, Nigeria does not begin and end with APC, that is the truth that must be told. If you add together the votes scored by Asiwaju, and the one scored by the two other opposition parties, the two opposition parties are even more than what the President scored. But that is not the point, the point is that the President has been declared as the winner, so we must all come together and support him. I’m telling you, if they had done what we have been telling them, we may not have all this noise we are having today.”
