Dave Umahi Reacts After He Met With Staff Of Ministry Of Works Today As He Assumes Office As Minister

The immediate past executive Governor of Ebonyi State, Dave Umahi has reacted after he met with the staff and contractors of the Ministry of Works.

Dave Umahi, a Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress has earlier been screened and confirmed by the upper chamber of the national assembly as a Minister. Yesterday, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu sworn in former Governor Dave Umahi as Minister of Works of the federal republic of Nigeria.

During the event yesterday, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu had charged the new Ministers to do their possible best when performing their ministerial duties.

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu said; “In this new assignment, we are in this boat together, even if it is a vehicle, I am the driver. The entire nation sits watchful, as you and I navigate this vehicle. We must hold each other responsible. We have to do the job to meet the expectations of all Nigerians. God be with you, and God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria.”

Reacting after he assumed office, Senator Dave Umahi said; “I had a fruitful engagement with the staff and contractors of the Ministry of Works upon my assumption of duty today.”

He stated further; “During the engagement, we highlighted our commitment to creating a new Nigeria characterized by exceptional infrastructure and well-built roads that extend throughout the entire country.”
