Replicate your achievements as gov in FCT, indigenes tell Wike

Indigenes of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, have called on the former governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike, to replicate his achievements in his state, as he takes over as FCT Minister.

It will be recalled that President Bola Tinubu had on Tuesday, assigned portfolios to newly confirmed ministerial nominees, with Wike given the FCT portfolio.

In a letter of congratulations to Wike, the natives promised to make their wishes come true by replicating the infrastructure improvements he left to the capital of Rivers State, Port-Harcourt, in Abuja.

The FCT natives expressed joy at Wike’s appointment as Minister of the FCT in a statement released under the auspices of Abuja Original Inhabitant Youth Empowerment Organisation, AOIYEO, and expressed hope that he would modernise the country’s capital city. According to vanguard.

The natives highlighted that the growth of Abuja in all respects required someone bold to uphold strict adherence to the master plan, restore normalcy in the area of security, and fiercely commit to nation building in the statement signed by the President, Commandant Isaac David.

“We, the original Abuja residents, are overjoyed to welcome Nyesom Wike to the Federal Capital Territory as our minister,” the group declared.

“Given his enormous contributions to his state, especially Port-Harcourt while serving the state, we are particularly pleased with the nomination of the immediately preceding governor of Rivers State as our minister. Electing someone who lacks expertise running a capital city like ours would be detrimental to the nation.

Given the new minister’s history, we have every reason to believe that his impressive achievements in Port-Harcourt will be repeated here because he is a brave, strong, and dedicated national builder.

“We have seen all of these in Nyesom Wike, and we think he will demonstrate similar talents in Abuja.

Most importantly, we will urge the minister to involve all Abuja native stakeholders, particularly the youths, in the administration of the government because a thorough understanding of Abuja’s complex nature and structure justifies the need for the minister to collaborate with both the city’s residents and original inhabitants for a successful tenure.
