According to DAILY POST NEWSPAPER, Prigozhin, the leader of the Wagner Group, has died in a plane accident. A private jet crash resulted in the death of approximately 10 individuals who were on board.
According to reports, the private jet was allegedly targeted and brought down by Russian military forces in the Tver region, located north of Moscow. It has been revealed that Prigozhin had recently made an unsuccessful attempt to overthrow Putin. In recent times, Prigozhin made an unsuccessful bid to overthrow Putin. In June, Prigozhin spearheaded an unsuccessful rebellion against the Russian military. Putin labeled Prigozhin as a “betrayal” in his description.
A private jet crash in the northern part of Moscow has resulted in the death of ten individuals, including Yevgeny Prigozhin, according to the Russian Civil Ation Authority. The Russian emergency services have discovered eight bodies at the crash site. The aircraft, an Embraer, was carrying seven passengers and three crew members and was en route from Moscow to St Petersburg. The crash occurred near the village of Kuzhenkino in the Tver region, approximately 60 miles north of Moscow. The Federal Air Transport Agency, Rosatsia, has launched an investigation into the incident after finding Prigozhin’s name on the passenger list.
Although unconfirmed, reports suggest that the business jet belonged to Prigozhin, but it is unclear if he was on board. Flight tracking data reveals that a private jet associated with Wagner and previously used by Prigozhin departed from Moscow on Wednesday evening, but its transponder signal disappeared shortly after.
The signal was lost in a remote area without suitable airfields for an emergency landing. A photo shared on a pro-Wagner social media account shows burning debris, with a partial tail number resembling that of a privately-owned company jet.
