Tinubu's Ministerial list: "I went to Senate with my friend, Wike, will you say Wike is not a good material? -Fayose

Ayo Fayose, former Ekiti state governor, said that about Tinubu’s ministerial nominees, he went to Senate with his friend, Nyesom Wike, asking if people will say Wike is not a good material.

Ayo Fayose made the statement in an interview with TVC during the Politics Tonight program when he was asked to react to Tinubu’s ministerial nominees that are already screened by the Senate.

Ayo Fayose reacted that,

“Asiwaju is not a magician. You can not equally say what your son will do or what your daughter will do or what your wife sometimes will do. The only person I believe largely is my wife, if they say stand-in, I will stand in for my wife, my son will stand in for his wife too…”

He said on Channels, he gave some suggestion which he didn’t know maybe Tinubu took that suggestions and why the list is this great. However, he said the suggestion he gave was that, Tinubu should nominate old order like former governor, of not more than 40 per cent, women should be about 30 per cent, and youths about 30 per cent.

“I went to Senate with my friend, Wike, will you say Wike is not a good material? He’s not a member of APC.”

Fayose then said that the list is fine but as he has said, you can’t predict what anybody will do.
