Presidential Election: Be a man, concede defeat to Tinubu – Fani-Kayode tells Peter Obi
A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Femi Fani-Kayode has begged Peter Obi, the Labour Party, LP, presidential candidate to call the President-elect, Bola Tinubu and concede defeat.
Fani-Kayode spoke while responding to Obi’s latest comment on the outcome of the presidential election.
On Monday, Obi said he would challenge the process that led to Tinubu’s victory.
Speaking on Arise Television, Obi said: “I’m not challenging who they declared. I’m not challenging whatever the outcome, I’m challenging the process through which they arrived at their declaration.
“And unless we do that, we’re not going to stop the rascality we witnessed in that election.”
Reacting, Fani-Kayode charged Obi to accept that he lost the presidential election.
In a tweet, Fani-Kayode wrote: “Surrender loading! Poor confused soul, no longer making sense. My counsel? Be a MAN, withdraw the case, concede you LOST, reign in your supporters and congratulate our President-elect.”
