Young People Voted En Masse For Tinubu And That's Why He Recorded Highest Number Of Votes- Bamisile

Adegboyega Bamisile, Deputy Chief Of Staff to DG of the now defunct Tinubu/Shettima Presidential Campaign Council has come out to say that young Nigerians voted en masse for President Tinubu during the last presidential election and thus, he recorded the highest number of votes in the election.

According to Bamisile who appeared in an interview on Channels television this morning…

“As against 2019 when we had about 35% voter turnout, I think this 2023 election we had about 25%, just below that. A little under 25 million out of the 87 million PVCs that were collected, so there was low voter turnout. The lessons there for young people is that they should participate more in politics than just standing on the sidelines. I can assure you that young people have seen this in play, that the more they take the backseat, the more decisions are made on their behalf.”

“But I also have to point out that young people voted en masse for President Tinubu in this election and that’s why he recorded the highest number of votes.”
