Police Arrested 50 Year Old Man For Job Scam, Sexual Assault

A 50- year- old man by name, Joseph Godfrey, who specializes in bringing naïve female job seekers to a hotel and sexually abusing them, has been apprehended by the Bayelsa State Police Command in a special tactical operation.

According to the report, Godfrey pretended to be employed at Government House in Yenagoa when he promised jobs to his victims.

However, he was apprehended after one of the young ladies alerted the others to what she believed to be his fraudulent behavior.

The following is an excerpt from the statement that was released: ” Operatives of SWAT, Bayelsa State Command, have arrested one Joseph Godfrey’ m’ 50 years for luring unwary female job- seekers to a hotel and sexually assaulting them. ”

The suspect typically posed as a member of staff at the Government House in Yenagoa, and he enticed his victims to come to him with the promise of employment and job opportunities. ”
