Police Arrest 5 Kidnappers, Recover N5million Ransom, See What Happened

No less than five suspected kidnappers were arrested after they kidnapped a child and collected the sum of five million naira from his parents to release him. The ransom they collected to release the victim was also recovered from them as the police revealed how the incident occurred.

According to the source, the arrested suspects met their waterloo after they kidnapped an eight- year- old boy identified as Mustapha Aliyu Fadil and collected five million naira ransom from the victim’ s parents before they released him. The kidnappers were rounded up in their hideout after they executed the operation and they were all arrested.

The police public relations officer in the state, SP Sulaiman Nguroje confirmed the development to the newsmen in a statement released on Friday, 14 October 2022. He stated that the arrested suspects were nabbed by the tactical police team on Sunday, 9 October 2022.
