With ambitions to compete in multiple competitions they cannot afford to rely on an inexperienced youngster at the crucial centre-back position.

Although Benjamin Pavard is primarily a right-back, he has the versatility and experience to play for Manchester United. 2. Marc Guehi (Crystal Palace)
The young 22-year-old talent earned the privilege of becoming the Premier League’s youngest captain. The interest expressed by United in acquiring his services at the beginning of the summer is justified due to his exceptional attributes. However, a potential move to Old Trafford may encounter an obstacle in the form of Palace’s minimum £50m transfer fee demand. Given United’s recent significant investments during the transfer window this valuation might dissuade them from pursuing Guehi.

Burkina Faso international, Edmond Tapsoba known for his ball-playing abilities could be a suitable addition to Manchester United.
