PHOTOS: VP Shettima Meets Peter Obi, Sen Akpabio & Other APC Chieftains At Wedding Party In Kano

Some moments ago, the vice president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Kashim Shettima, took to his verified Facebook page to share photos showing the moment he met with Labour Party’s 2023 presidential candidate, Peter Obi and other leaders of his party at a Wedding Party in Kano state.

Vice President Kashim Shettima said, “earlier today in Kano state, I attended a wedding fatiha between Abdullahi Barau, son of the Deputy President of the Senate, Senator Barau Jibrin. Senator Barau Jibrin’s son married Bilkisu Aliyu Sani Madaki, who is the daughter of Representative Aliyu Sani Madaki, the Deputy Minority Leader of the House of Representatives.”

Speaking further, the Vice president said, “I congratulate the couple and my prayer for them is that almighty Allah descends his blessings in their new home.”

The occasion was graced by leaders of the ruling All Progressives Congress such as the senate president, Godswill Obot Akpabio, the majority leader of the 10th Nigerian senate, senator Micheal Opeyemi Bamidele, former governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo state and a host of others.
