Oba Enitan Adeyeye Ogunwusi Ojaja II praised Obi for having the courage to run in the 223 presidential elections on the Labour Party platform.
Ooni lauded Obi’s youth developmental agenda which has given him massive support from the youth population.
Speaking in the palace, Obi urged voters to go beyond ethnicity and religion as the basis for the general elections of 2023. He urged voters to select a leader who is capable of transformation and is prepared to foster youth development and capacity building.
When the general elections for the next year take place, Obi will be running against Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, a candidate for the All Progressives Congress (APC), Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, a candidate for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), and others.
