Peter Obi Reacts To Allegations Of Him Bribing Rufai Oseni By Sponsoring His Father's Burial

The presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, has reacted to the rumours of him bribing journalist, Rufai Oseni, by sponsoring the burial of his father. In a tweet put out by the former governor of Anambra, Peter Obi, who initially said he doesn’t get involved in name-calling, neither does he attack people in the course of his political journey, and avoided replying to cheap blackmail. He does, however, have to clarify the case where he was recently mentioned to have bribed Rufai Oseni by financially sponsoring the burial of his father.

Peter Obi went on to state it’s a lie, not true and will never induce anyone to speak in his favour and has never been to Rufai’s village and when he’s invited to celebrations, he honours such invitations, especially when people are grieving.
