The Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, Peter Obi has vowed to stop campaigning for the presidency if anyone can prove he misappropriated funds received as governor of Anambra state

According to Obi, he received over half a trillion naira during his eight-year tenure as the governor of Anambra state without misappropriating any percentage of the money.
He further dared anyone to prove his statement wrong, adding that if they can, he would stop campaigning for the presidency.
“Stop the Stealing. I received about half a Trillion Naira as governor in 8 years. If anyone can show me where 1% of it was misappropriated, I will stop campaigning.”Peter Obi said to Nigerians in the UK
