Following the judgement of the presidential election petitions court, the Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, has disclosed that he has instructed his lawyers to do the needful and appeal the judgement of the presidential election to the supreme Court of Nigeria according to the provisions of the 1999 constitution (as amended)
The Labour Party Presidential Candidate, Peter Obi has rejected the verdict of the presidential election petitions Court affirmed the electoral victory of President Bola Tinubu of the ruling all progressives congress in the February 25th general election.
Peter Obi made this statement while interacting with newsmen on Thursday evening in Abuja after the presidential candidate of the peoples democratic party atiku Abubakar had announced his intention of approaching the supreme court.
According to Leadership paper, the peoples democratic party’s presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, had also rejected the judgement of the presidential elections petition court which affirmed the victory of Bola Tinubu in the February 25th general election.
