The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory FCT of Nigeria, Nyesom Wike has revealed that he knows one of the lawyers of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) who wants to be the attorney general if the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the 2023 presidential election, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar is elected as the president of Nigeria.

Nyesom Wike said this while speaking in an interview with Channels TV. Nyesom Wike said part of the problems they have now are the lawyers of each political party.

He said, “If you think you have distrust in the Judiciary, why did you go to the tribunal in the first place? If I don’t have confidence, why should I go? These are just mere blackmail. They are now going to the Supreme Court, are they not part of the Judiciary? These cases are not won by what you say in the media. I think part of the problems we have are also our lawyers. I know one of the lawyers of PDP who wants to be the attorney general if Atiku is elected or Atiku is declared winner. To him, it doesn’t matter whatever perspective you bring. What he does as far as he is concerned is that, whatever law it takes, he will make Atiku the president even if it is wrong”.
