PEPT: 'I'm Surprised That I Didn't See The Leaders Of The Labour Party In Court' – Wike

The Minister of the FCT, Nyesom Wike has claimed he was surprised that he didn’t see the leaders of the Labour Party at the judgment of the election tribunal matter. He stated categorically that the Presidential Candidate and the Vice Presidential candidate should have been in court. He further argued that the opposition should concede defeat and support the administration of President Bola Tinubu.

He said in an interview with Channels TV, ”Is there any time that we have held an election in this country? Particularly the Presidential election that people have not gone to Court. I was surprised when I watched the television yesterday, I didn’t see the leaders of the party, what happened? But he has been attending tribunal every time. I’m surprised that I didn’t see the leaders of the Labour Party in court. The Presidential candidate and the Vice Presidential candidate needs to be in Court. The same thing in the PDP. In a serious country, they should all join hands now with the President to achieve the renewed hope.”
