Pension: 'What Sen Gbenga Daniels Did Is Commendable, No Former Governor Has Ever Done That' -Liborous Oshoma

A Lawyer and Public affairs analyst, Liborous Oshoma has praised former Governor of Ogun State, Otunba Gbenga Daniels for writing to the pension office to stop the continuous payment of his monthly pension salary. He said in an interview with Arise Tv that what the former Governor had done is admirable. According to him, he has set a good moral standard for other former Governors who are serving currently as Senators.

He said, ”Recently, I read a letter from Senator Gbenga Daniels. He wrote to the pension office to stop his pension as a former governor on the fact that he’s currently a serving Senator. The money is nearly 700,000 naira per month. What he did is commendable, no former governor has ever done that. How many of the former governors who have turned Senators have written similar letters to their state for government to stop their salaries.”
