PDP Governor, Godwin Obaseki Pictured Together With His Predecessor, Adams Oshiomhole Yesterday

The executive Governor of Edo State, Godwin Obaseki has been pictured together with his predecessor, Senator Adams Oshiomhole yesterday at the 60th Anniversary of the Midwest Referendum and Edo State @ 32 years celebration.

Senator Adams Oshiomhole is an incumbent federal lawmaker. He is a former National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress after his eight years tenure as the executive Governor of Edo State.

Adams Oshiomhole, a former National President of the Nigerian Labour Congress, NLC fell out with his successor, Godwin Obaseki few years ago.

Governor Godwin Obaseki stated on his verified Twitter page; “It’s been sixty years since our great leaders of the past from Edo, Delta and parts of Bayelsa State united in agreement for their self-determination, giving rise to the then Midwest Region. This historic event marked the beginning of a new era of a people renowned as pace setters, with a diversely rich culture and heritage.”

The Peoples Democratic Party Chieftain stated further; “As we commemorate this milestone once again, we must continue to work together to overcome challenges, build on our successes, and sustain collaborations towards building a strong and productive region”
