Pastor Matthew Ashimolowo is a Nigerian clergyman, the senior pastor of Kingsway International Christian Centre in London. In a recent post on his official Facebook page, he sends an important message to believers about what happens when we pray in tongues.
He said, “Speaking in tongues shuts out the terrestrial world. When you pray in the Spirit, you bypass your ability to doubt. Praying in tongues will connect with all your life. You are speaking in the language of heaven and opening yourself to the spiritual realm. The dynamic power of God becomes resident in you, but you must learn how to stir it up.”

However, to receive the gifts of the Holy Spirit, you have to ask. Christ has already sent us the Comforter as He promised and all we need to do is to give him a place in life. One of the evidence that you have gotten the Holy Spirit in you is that you will speak in new tongues. May God help us.
