Pastor Arrested in Connection with Woman’s Death at Hotel
According to Punch News report, The Abia State Police Command has taken into custody Pastor Timothy Otu, of Agape Evangelical Ministry, located in Obikabia Junction, following the demise of a 43-year-old woman, Happiness Echieze, in his hotel room.
However according to investigation it was discovered that the incident occurred at a hotel in Ovom village on August 12, 2023, where both the pastor and the woman were staying. The State Police Public Relations Officer, Maureen Chinaka, revealed that the case has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department for thorough examination. Preliminary investigations indicate that the deceased’s body has been taken to the SDA Mortuary in Aba, awaiting autopsy.
