Nyesom Wike: If You Know You Have Built On Where You Are Not Supposed To, It Will Go Down

After undergoing vetting and approval by the Nigerian Senate, the 45 ministers have been officially sworn in to commence their roles. This event took place a few days, following President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s allocation of specific portfolios to each minister.

The inauguration ceremony occurred on Monday, at the Presidential Villa, during which individuals like Nyesom Wike, a Federal Capital Territory Minister, and others were administered the oath of office. Following this, Nyesom Wike, upon assuming his role, made statements that, “If you know you have built on where you are not supposed to, it will go down.” This statement by Wike have sparked reactions online.

Wike asserted that, “People who are distorting the master plan of Abuja, too bad, look at refuse everywhere. Those we are paying for refuse collection, what are they doing. So we must also sit down to look at ways of waste management. All those people who are distorting the master plan of Abuja, too bad and if you know you have built on where you are not supposed to, it will go down”.
